The Somerville movers call ahead and met Jen at the self-storage location to pick-up the three items of furniture. The furniture was cream, so the removalists recommended to Jen to cover each piece of furniture in plastic so it never got dust from the storage container when they moved it passed other furniture. Jen thanked the men for their proactive approach and organised three plastic furniture covers from the storage facility. The movers put the covers on the three items of furniture, before moving them through the storage unit and facility. The furniture was loaded in the truck, blanketed and then tied in separately, so no item touched another item to avoid denting or scratching of Jen’s furniture.
Jen said her husband would be at her home in Emerald as she needed to finalise her exit paperwork at the self-storage facility in Somerville. The movers confirmed the address in Emerald and Jen called her husband with an eta provided by the removalists.
The removalists arrived in Emerald, parked the truck as close to possible to the entrance to Jen’s home. The movers then went to meet Jen’s husband and see where each piece of furniture was going to be placed. As the room where the furniture was going to be located was tight, the removalists started unloading the last piece of furniture first so it would not be in the way inside the home. The first piece of furniture was unloaded last and placed into position.
Jen’s husband thanked the removalists and appreciated the thought and effort they put into the job even though it was a small job. The movers confirmed no damage had occurred with Jen’s husband and then provided him with a completed insurance form. The payment was made and the removal team provided an invoice for Jen and her Husbands records.
